I'm getting further now.  The ssh connection is getting opened, and it
looks like the key exchange is happening.  An encrypted request is sent,
and an encrypted response is received.  But the svn command just hangs. 
I'm about ready to give up on PuTTY and install the cygwin ssh, unless
you have any ideas.    (02)
